I finally settled on a GPS navigator. Or more in terms of which one to get. I ended up getting the Garmin Montana 600. My next runner up was the the Zumo 660. Having the option to use the same device for mountain biking as well as motorcycling seemed smart. I bought the motorcycle bundle with the European City Navigator maps.
The bundle included a RAM handlebar mount which was easy enough to install. I’m not overly excited about the placement of the navigator as it’s pretty much in your face. I’d prefer to at least cradle the illusion of adventure riding and not have a GPS display in my field of vision the whole ride. I’ll look into this later when I finish the wiring. It’s still not hooked up and I’ll have sort out a place to wire it into.
