The Crimson Trail continues to day four

The 2015 ride report on the first season of the Crimson Trail is back on track. Day four is now live here.

The 500 EXC build article has also been updated with the full service history. The article will receive further updates soon, as the bike should hopefully clear the Estonian registration in the next week or two and arrive at my garage.

I recently purchased a 2018 500 EXC and other than the race based engine, I like it. Do you know of any tricks, such as a heavier flywheel, that will remove some of the vibration and make the engine a little smoother when riding on pavement and back roads?

John, congrats on the new bike! I’m not sure about engine modifications, but some guys run mud type foam grips, and you could also look into the KTM PHDS Progressive Handlebar Damping System. If you do, please let me know how it works. 😉
