The new luggage arrived just in time! So excited to see them in the flesh finally!
Many thanks to Mirek Antoniewicz at XCountry Poland for creating the Hobo version of his awesome Enduro Bags and mask bag. The workmanship and material quality looks wonderful and the dual 15 litre volume seems to be just right for the 10 kg I’ll be loading into them. The mask bag will be for spare goggles, gloves, charging, etc. A minimalistic tank bag will be in development shortly too.
Looking forward to slapping these babies on the bike tonight and getting them dirty on the Crimson Trail vol. II, starting this Thursday.
What’s your experience mounting them?
Are they just in another color or additional modifications?
Thank you!
Hi Mitzor,
They’ll easily mount on any rack system, but I wanted to go rackless, which needs a connection point on the back fender for tail straps. The load is secured with two wide straps over the seat and finally with a strap that loops around the frame next to the footpegs. I also run an extra loop over the bags to make sure they don’t bounce around during fast bouncy stuff. So all in all there’s a solid option with or without a rack.
You can get them in most primary colors. I know he does at least yellow, orange, red, blue, black and grey. Mine are a custom set, a Hobo version if you will 🙂
Hi,
How are these bags holding up? They seem pretty good but I haven’t found any reviews or many pics of them.
Hi Bogdan, I’ve been really happy with them. Especially the small 2×10 are a perfect fit for the 500 EXC. No real issues in durability in my use.
