As promised, the mechanic had gotten right into repairing our van in the morning. The faulty driver side rear wheel bearing was replaced and our expedition vehicle is now rolling south silky smooth. Or at least as silky as a 2001 Iveco Daily rolls at this point of its lifespan. Either way, excited to be back on the southbound route. If all goes well, and we make it to Bucharest tomorrow, we should be able to hop on the bikes on Thursday, roll out and pick up the slack by fast forwarding through Romania, Bulgaria and just to beyond Istanbul, from where the trail begins.

Nice.Dropping by Motocamp Bulgaria while out that way.?Love the ultralight 500 but you didnt mention oil chang intervals ?
Hi Robert, thanks for the feedback. We will probably fast track through Bulgaria, so no camping most likely. You’ll find info on the oil changes in the expedition oil change post.
