After receiving comments and having a chat with BlackAdder aka Make, I decided to bite the bullet and cough up the cash. There’s a proverb in Finland: “The Finnish man only learns through his wallet”. Well that certainly is very true this time around. It stings, but I’ll be extra careful from now. At least I won’t have to worry about faulty parts in the engine. I’m much happier knowing, that it’s one thing I don’t need to worry about. As for the end result of the build, I guess we’ll hopefully see it completed at some point.
I dropped the generator, ignition and clutch covers, swing arm, rear brake caliper bracket, sprocket carrier, torque arm, sprocket cover, fork bodies and hugger to be sprayed. Hopefully I’ll have all parts back next week.
