Last week I permanently deleted the Hobo Facebook page. The decision to do so had nothing to do with the #deletefacebook movement, but I’ll admit that I’ve never been a fan of Facebook to begin with. And in case you’re wondering why we’re not FB friends any longer, I’ve also deleted my personal account. The reason for deleting was the simple fact, that I’m currently rather busy with work and wanted to focus all my Hobo time into one outlet i.e. this site. I find it’s a better platform for finding and revisiting content.
The ride report on The Crimson Trail 2015 is well into its second week, with day 11 added today.
Excellent move!
No worries mate, I am here still following your new adventures.
All the best!

Good hobo move.
HI man,
I’ve followed your Crimson Trail RR on ADVrider, and often refer folks to your “gear selection” pages from lightweight options in camping & travel.
wasn’t following or friends on face book, but I totally “get it” about deleting accounts there…
my online name (forums, IG, etc) is Ricochetrider and I’lll see you around.
Many thanks buddy! Glad to hear you’re still around 😉
