I’m back home. The end of the Greek trail was very nice, but Albania was truly spectacular. The riding was absolutely fantastic, but pretty tight and generally energy consuming, so I ended up spending more time there than intended. I was pretty worn out when I reached the Montenegrin border, and knew that the mountains would soon shrink into hills and eventually flatten out. To be honest I had no interest in riding hills or flat ground after the epic Albanian high mountain trails, so I decided to head home, with a stop in Villach to catch up with friends and do the final service. I rode the 920 km from Villach to Berlin in one go, and in unusually good weather.
