We managed to find a Chinese enduro for hire in Matagalpa. Apparently we were the first customers and the bikes were still partially wrapped in plastic. We filled out all the documentation and went for a spin. It was a 350 I think, but very sluggish. Well, what can you expect for 20 USD a day. It was absolutely dirt cheap and still fun to ride around the country side. The down side was that it was Xmas eve, and apparently the local traditional is for the men to get absolutely wasted. We ran into several groups of men staggering around with half empty Flor de Cana bottles. A great day out though.
